Many of the people to whom we spoke did not know that there was an Aquarist Society in Otley and they were interested in what we did.

Most of the inquires were related with ph, nitrate and ammonia problems along with over feeding. Lots of people also seem to be having the old familiar problem of green water in their ponds.

There was a painting competition for the children, the winner to be announced at our Open Show in September. Free samples of fish food and water treatments were given out along with live food.

The society would like to thank the staff at Pets at Home for their help in organising the weekend especially Stuart the manager. Lets hope we will be able to make this an annual event.
